The Comp 9X  is AUDIUM's top model.

In the X-version of the Comp 8 we made a lot of updates and modifications to the well established predecessors.The newly constructed baffle optimizes sonic refractions resulting in an even more flat frequency response you would never expect from a single fullrange driver. Further more, we vibration-decoupled the baffle from the cabinet  and optimised the bottom plate against resonances.This results in an even more vivid, threedimensional and stable reproduction of all music-material. Further more, this modifications give the speakers a slimmer and more straightforward apearance. This takes them more out of the acoustical stage and makes them less dominant in your living / listening room.
Also the finished / veneers have been updated. Step by Step we will introduce Black and White Silk-matte and walnut / oak. High Gloss black and white and Mocca will remain available also.

Equipped with the unique dual cone point  source, this construction breaks the rut of broadband and multi-way constructions.

This heart is supported by an even more powerful 27cm woofer that can come up with various innovations. A long-throw voice coil in combination with the large but light cellulose / cotton membrane ensures a deep and substantial bass. Here, too, low-mass aluminum voice coils are used, as in the Comp 8. This was the only way to integrate the woofer perfectly and to realize a seamless sound pattern with consistent speed and detail resolution.

Version 3 of this speaker now also offers the flexibility in terms of upgrades that is already known from the smaller models: The entire switch sits on the terminal and can be easily exchanged for an active module. So nothing stands in the way of upgrades to Drive, Active or Air and your AUDIUMs can grow with your needs.

Furthermore, the energy in the high-frequency range can now be varied in 3 stages using a jumper, similar to the room setting that is already known from the Active and Air models.

All tube and digital amplifiers will be happy about the impedance correction because the impedance-dependent reproduction in the high-frequency range is now a thing of the past.

These ingredients present you with a maximum of three-dimensional holographic music reproduction. Voices and instruments are ""tangible"" in front of you on the virtual stage. The bass is extremely fast, crisp and with a deep punch and plays down to the lowest octaves.

Music becomes even more noticeable. Live recordings almost become a live experience.
